• Written by @Lifeline24

We are pleased to announce LifeConnect24 has been awarded a place on ESPO Framework Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Products and Services. Read on to find out what this means for LifeConnect24 and our community.

What is ESPO?

ESPO is a public sector owned professional buying organisation (PBO) that specializes in providing a wide range of products and services such as technology enabled care products and homecare monitoring, among many others.

Public sector organisations such as the NHS, Local Authorities, and Care and Housing Associations can access required services via this framework to help save time and resources to get equipment and products to those who need them swiftly and easily.

ESPO Framework 203_21

The ESPO Framework 203_21 commenced in June 2021 and gives access to service providers who supply technology enabled care products and services. Products and services that have been traditionally known as telecare and telehealth.

The framework is divided into two slots to help public sector organisations navigate the service they require easier:

  • Lot 1: Technology Enabled Care Products and Services Catalogue (products and commodities services) for direct call off.
  • Lot 2: Technology Enabled Care Services (outsourced services including products as part of the service) accessed by further competition.

What Does This Mean for LifeConnect24?

We are proud here at LifeConnect24 to be featured on the ESPO Framework 203_21. Being included in the framework means that we can reach further in our mission to provide independence and safety to those who need it. It also means we can do this promptly to keep up with the demand.

We strive to make sure no one is left feeling vulnerable or unsafe in their own home. Working with ESPO means we can reach these people in a way we wouldn’t have been able to before.

Hello Peter, Thank you for your comment. Lifeline alarms will continue to work when the current phonelines are phased out. However, if you are using an analogue alarm, it will instead need to be plugged into your broadband router using an adaptor. Alternatively, you can upgrade to a digital alarm, which does not require a phoneline to function. You can find out more about your options by calling our team on 0800 030 8999. We hope this has helped. Kind regards, LifeConnect24
