How It Works
Activating your Lifeline Alarm is simple. Press the alert button on your alarm base unit or pendant. This will send an alert to our in-house Response Team, who answer and assess the situation by speaking to you over your alarm base unit’s loudspeaker.
Emergency contacts are informed that your alarm has been activated and help is required. If you need medical attention or your chosen contacts cannot be reached, our Response Team will call the emergency services. No need for you to remember phone numbers – our team do all the work.
To benefit from automatic fall detection alerts, consider upgrading to a fall detector alarm.
Reassurance at Home and in the Garden
Enjoy the freedom of living independently throughout your home and garden. Your lightweight Lifeline Alarm pendant works up to 100m away from the alarm base unit. You can live confidently knowing you can activate your alarm even at the bottom of your garden. Your pendant is lightweight, waterproof, and can be worn on your wrist or around your neck.
No Need to Charge
Your Lifeline Alarm pendant has a battery life of up to seven years with no charging required. When the battery runs low, our systems let us know and we send a free replacement pendant to keep you connected.
Your base unit has up to 40 hours of backup battery if mains power is lost, meaning there’s no need to worry about power cuts. Rest assured that you will remain connected to our Response Team. The base unit will automatically recharge when your mains power is restored.
The Lifeline Alarm can be updated to use our fall detection system. For extra peace of mind, our Fall Detector alarms come fitted with a fall sensor that sends an automatic alert to our Response Team if it detects a fall. Many LifeConnect24 customers upgrade to fall detection to benefit from the added reassurance and security it provides.
Lifetime Warranty
All alarm equipment provided by LifeConnect24 is covered by a lifetime warranty. If a replacement is required, we will provide one free of charge. Our equipment adheres to British Standards, guaranteeing the best quality coverage.
Choice of Additions
Additional Pendant
You can pair an additional pendant to your SmartLife alarm to be used as a spare, removing the worry of misplacing your pendant and not being able to reach our Response Team. Alternatively, an additional pendant can cover two people living at the same address, under one LifeConnect24 alarm plan.
Smoke Detector
LifeConnect24 Optical Smoke Detectors automatically send an alert to our 24/7 Emergency Response Team when they detect smoke. Our team are then able to immediately notify the emergency services. An audible alert is also activated, warning all household members. As the signal process is automatic and immediate, the risk to life and property is reduced.
